Hofstra Family Connection

Hello Hofstra parents and families! The commencement season is upon us, and with it comes plenty of events to help our graduates celebrate their accomplishments.

May 19^th is the Celebration of Scholarly Excellence where graduates will be presented with awards for their academic achievement  This ceremony is by invitation only. Also, on this day is the Senior Class Toast with President Rabinowitz. The event begins at 5:30pm in the Main Dining Room of the Student Center. There is a limit of up to 2 guests per graduate, and students can RSVP at hofstra.edu/seniortoastsignup.

On May 20^th, the Students of Color Graduation Ceremony will be taking place in the newly renovated Pride Den. The ceremony is from 10am to noon, and students can RSVP here. The Lavender Graduation Celebration for LGBTQ+ Students will also be held on May 20^th in the same location at 1pm to 3pm. Students can RSVP here.

                                                  

Also taking place on May 20^th is the Student and Family NYC Cruise. Students and their family members will have the opportunity to see the sights and sounds of Manhattan while celebrating with loved ones aboard a lunch cruise.
