It’s just about that time for your student’s college graduation. But before that day arrives, here is some important information that you and your student needs to know:

To confirm graduation ceremony attendance and for your student to order his or her cap and gown, he or she must either log into the portal or visit hofstra.edu/academicattire. By following the easy online instructions, your student should carefully check his or her order, and click “submit”.  An order confirmation will display afterwards.  Orders for academic attire must be received by Friday, April 17, 2015. Academic attire will be in the Plaza Rooms in the Mack Student Center to be picked up between the hours of 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Wednesday or Thursday, May 13 and May 14, or an hour before his or her ceremony on Sunday, May 17, in the Physical Education Building, North Campus.  Your student must present his or her Hofstra ID card. There is no fee, and the cap and gown will be his or hers to keep after the ceremony!
