Easily one of our favorite events every year here at Hofstra's Office
of Parent and Family Programs, Siblings Day is fun-filled day and a great
experience for any student with a younger sibling and/or relative. Both Hofstra
commuting students and residents of any class year are invited to bring their
younger sibling or relative, ages 13-17, to Hofstra for a day of games, fun and
experience. Siblings Day will take place on Saturday, March 1st, 2014 from noon
until late Saturday night. Games and activities include a pizza party lunch, a
dodge ball tournament, scavenger hunt, a Men’s Basketball game against James
Madison University, a Late-Night breakfast (one of the best traditions at
Hofstra) and a sleepover for residential students.
The siblings and relatives of your Hofstra student will gain
first-hand experience of living in a college environment all while having a blast
with their older brother, sister, or relative! In addition, your student and
sibling will be walking out of their experience with their own Siblings Day T-shirt
that they can tie-dye at the late-night breakfast! You may register your
student’s sibling or relative at the Siblings
Day Registration Site. After registering, you MUST complete the Acknowledgement
and Release form and either email it to us at parents@hofstra.edu or fax it to (516)
463-7017.
We look forward to seeing you child there and as always we
welcome any questions or concerns. Please call the office at (516) 463-4698 or
email us at parents@hofstra.edu!
