Hofstra University has had a rich, vibrant history of fraternities and sororities since 1936.  Our fraternities and sororities have become an integral part of our community, and members of these organizations have added positively to the fabric of student live and become active and engaged alumni.  Today, we recognize 27 social fraternities and sororities, listed below, who create a diverse, welcoming environment for our students.  These student leaders are engaged in community service, philanthropic efforts, and excel scholastically.
