Is your student living or interested in living on campus? Is your student looking for a leadership opportunity on campus? If your answer is yes to these questions, The Office of Residence Life has the perfect solution for your student.

The Office of Residence Life is currently looking for Resident Assistants. Applications can be filled out online through the student Hofstra Portal. The Resident Assistant position is an essential role within this office and it promotes healthy communication skills. Leaders in this role also play a key part in creating a sense of belonging for residents. Resident Assistants are also responsible for helping students navigate the campus community and available resources, assist with roommate concerns and mediations, and ensure a safe and healthy residential community. Residents Assistants are prepared to handle emergency situations that can take place within a residence hall with the support of their supervising Resident Directors and the Department of Public Safety.
