Upcoming Spring 2018 Academic Deadlines

Now that the Spring 2018 semester is in full swing, parents and families should know the upcoming deadlines concerning students’ classes and what it means for their success this semester.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23 is students’ absolute last opportunity for adding a class to their schedule. After this date it will not be possible to add a class in any capacity, including with an administrator.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 26 is the students’ last opportunity to withdraw from a class without receiving a “W” on their transcript. A “W” on a transcript indicates that the student withdrew from the course and is visible to anyone reviewing a transcript.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 7 is the last day to file the Pass/D/D+/Fail form. The Pass/D/D+/Fail form does not apply under a variety of circumstances. A copy of this form can be found here

Before spring break, MARCH 18 to MARCH 24, students will have their midterm exams. Students should be prepared by studying, resting, and preparing themselves in any capacity for the work ahead.
